What a terrible TV director. Hamilton is scraping by with no brakes and Alonso finishes 4 tenths behind him but instead we get shots of drivers that finished slowing down and crowd shots
Transition year in F1 for sure but we are lacking juice. That's a long term problem for this circuit.

They do this every race and it drives me crazy. We don't need to see the winner cross the line 28 seconds ahead of 2nd place. Show me the 3 car battle for 7th please.
They should show the winner crossing the line. Except, we don't need to start following P1 after turn 6 when they are leading by a literal mile. Keep showing the battles until the leader gets to the last corner and then show it.

They follow the leader when there's no doubt of the outcome way way way too long when there's actual last lap racing going on.
You guys are spot on. I didn't even realize that there was a battle going on for position further back.
I didn't watch all of the Singapore race so not sure what all was going on. The producers did it at the Baku race too. Didn't really show Max much during the race because he ran off and left every one. But when Max was on his final lap, around turn 12 maybe, they followed him the rest of the way while Lando was trying to pass Yuki I think.
They should do a PIP with the leader coasting to the finish with the actual battle on the other 80% of the screen. I am not sure if the feeds are the same, but I saw them do this in a portion of the F1 Kids broadcast.

Don't know anything about Apple TV but hate to see this happen. I assume that you can't record on Apple therefore will have to watch the race live.
It should be on-demand soon after the race. That won't be a problem.
I have the MLS package and you can watch a game from the start even if it has already started.

Seems like a dumb move for a sport that's still growing in the US to make the races less accessible

Sadly, it looks like I won't be watching F1 next year.
I only have YTTV and HBO Max (HBO because I still have my legacy ATT plan that included it). Had Peacock, but since WWE suddenly switched their pay per views (or whatever they call them) to ESPN service, that currently YTTV doesn't have access too, I cancelled it. I pretty much cancelled all streaming services last year, and don't plan on subscribing to any of them, especially just for 1 sport or show.

MLS went for the apple money grab. It's been a disaster for growing the league. But, hey the current owners are making more money.
I would've rather had it go to Netflix. I know Netflix has had some of the live feed issues, which I consider growing pains. It's just that Netflix has enough content for a broader group of viewers to justify being a subscriber.

Will it just be part of the standard Apple monthly subscription? If so, there is quite a lot of good content on there as well now
