If someone has a 12th man donor tag and a pro subscription, are they likely legit? No ag tag tho.

If somebody starts a thread saying they are selling tickets, they more than likely are not a scammer. Reply to people selling, instead of starting threads you are buying. That has always been my rule of thumb and bought tickets here for years and never run into the slightest problem.

If you started a thread saying you were buying and somebody responds I would be leery unless that poster has an extensive TexAgs history and is a well known poster.

If somebody reaches out to you first via phone or text because you posted your contact info on TexAgs, I would run away as fast as you can!

If they just started a TexAgs account in the last week, I would be leery regardless of any badges they have.

If somebody has a 12th Man Donor tag they probably aren't a scammer. If however you do get scammed by said individual. TexAgs should have their 12th Man Member ID associated with that user. So they might help tracking that person down. But they could have stolen their 12th Man Donor number from a buddy and set up a TexAgs account.

I wouldn't put too much stock into a pro sub. They could have paid money this week for that to look legit

You have an AgTag. Ask him/her to send the tickets first.

If you can DM information back and forth, I would feel more confident. If they have a low post account or new account, proceed with caution.

I prefer DM here for the "record" and plus *** support the forum.

I'd suggest calling them and talking to them on the phone. I do this often when I sell my tickets and the buyers can tell that I'm not a scammer when we start talking about A&M related topics and talk about my experiences and years that I spent in cstat. Scammers, won't ever talk to you on the phone. If they aren't willing to talk on the phone or if they can't DM you, they aren't legit. I also don't trust rookies. I know we were all rookies at some point, but there are too many other sellers that aren't rookies to worry about sending money to questionable sources.

I would just ask if they are scammers or not, and if they say yes then you should probably not buy from them. Hope this helps

On a serious note, I sell on here a bunch and I've had people ask for my name to look me up against my Venmo user to make sure I'm legit. I've never had an issue with it, I would imagine other legit sellers wouldn't either
