It's not a channel, it's SEC+ on the ESPN app. As long as your tv service gets SECN, you have it.

We have a game on SEC+ every year. This is nothing new

-Didn't sleep well but thats hotels
-Ball field most of the day in Beaumont. Wish I had an extra car to go to casino tonight.

Texas RenFest!

Dropped mom off at church in my hometown. Gonna go to the casino after.

I drove past my old house, and then decided to drive past where my best friend lived growing up. Sure enough the dad was outside, so I got out and talked to them, and I actually got to talk to the dad, the mom, and apparently my old best friend lived across the street and so she came over. So it was nice to visit with them for about 30 minutes. Haven't seen them since at lease 2001 if not before.

Now I'm hopefully gonna go win some money at Delta Downs!

Right around 1990, Delta Downs made SportsCenter. They raced on an extremely foggy night, and you couldn't see the far side of the track. A horse won one of the races without having been in the starting gate. It "joined" from somewhere in the fog. I can't imagine how someone thought they would get away with that, but ESPN showed it.

Back in the day, you always bet on a jockey named Borque. Any horse he rode did well.

Been a good day. Slept until almost 9. Did laundry, went to the grocery store, and bought pizza at Domino's. I am officially sick to death of pizza, but the Ags are now 11-0 this season on days when I buy it.

Was supposed to be mostly sunny today but the morning clouds never broke; pretty common with the low sun angle this time of year. Maybe we'll see that promised sunshine tomorrow? It's been a while.

Watched the Ags win and now watching Arkansas disappoint in Austin. About to find another game I think. College football >> NFL football.

Elk hunting this weekend. Hiked maybe 6-7 miles today and it was pretty demanding. Saw some mule deer but no elk. One of the deer just walked right past me and two other elk hunters, didn't care about us at all.

Finally got around to checking my mail, and Benny's Social Security card came. We met with them eight days ago. The SSA has taken care of me quickly and efficiently now twice since August.

I was curious whatever happened to these people. I mentioned last night that one of the kids went on to play for the NFL. The young father Red died about three months ago at the age of 93. Had a very nice obituary in the town newspaper.
