Yes, Madrigal is a vital part of the distribution network, but they are NOT more important to the DEA than Heisenberg.

And remember, the blue stuff has been around for much longer than a couple of months.

The blue stuff has only been around for about a year, and the DEA knew that Gus was in charge of distribution for the Southwest up until his death. And the only reason Madrigal is not more important is because the DEA doesn't know the extent of their involvement. The question is, what is Heisenberg without Madrigal?

I am playing catch-up in watching the earlier seasons and I've watched them out of order, but I have to agree that Skyler's character is completely justified in how she responds to Walt. He disappears for hours and then days at a time, has strange phone calls from druggies, assaults her rather than makes love to her, lies over and over and over again.....

Skyler does not know for a long time that Walt is a monster, but she knows something is very, very wrong, and then she discovers that he IS a monster who has put not just his life but the lives of his family at grave risk.

I don't get all the hate for her character. Her character has to react repeatedly to Walt's anarchism and so she comes off as a nagging mother, perhaps, and her anger and passive and active resentment are less interesting on-screen than the life and death dilemmas that Walt is facing, but that's no reason to disregard what Skyler is going through.

TV show aside, the DEA would be much more interested in taking down a multinational corporation.

Someone a few pages back actually called it. Walt sets up Hank. I think that was fairly obvious to predict if you think about it.

This is taking the place of The Wire as best tv series ever because of this season. At the end of season 4 I would have said The Wire is tops, but the last few episodes of Breaking Bad have jumped it ahead in my book.

I think he figured out that Huell lifted the Ricin cigarette after all and Walt was the reason that Brock went to the hospital. Walt was playing Jesse all along, as we know, and now Jesse is pissed.
