More on Pretti, not his first altercation with ICE:

First I'm surprised CNN is reporting this, makes me think they are taking an angle that the Feds targeted him for elimination or something or had a grudge against him. But to most objective people not deranged by TDS, it will prove that he was an agitator and not some bystanding observer.

Second, the fact that he already had a physical encounter with the feds makes it even more stupid that he brings a pistol to his next mission. Did he think he was going to shoot an officer and claim self-defense or something if he got in another altercation?

To your second question, no he was hoping to get beat up for the street cred and cool factor, possibly a lawsuit because the leftists all think everything results in million dollar legal settlements. Things didn't work out like he hoped.

Regardless of his motivations on the day he died, this new information tells us that this was not his first interaction with CBP and ICE. He very well may have already been on their radar as a multiple-time obstructionist.

It's also noteworthy that if he just recently received a rib injury in a previous interaction, and was immediately released, it stands to reason he wan't armed at that time. So his carrying might have been a new development. Dangerous. I hope investigators are tracking his purchase of that weapon. If it was recently purchased, that's potentially very significant in light of the previous altercation and his scrubbing of his social media presence.

Real actual Gestapo would have taken even peaceful protestors, had them kneel, and shot them in the back of the head. Nothing like that has remotely in the wildest realm of any imagination happened here.

Much like the one poster who claimed Trump would round up her + her family to send to concentration camps. It's a delusional nightmare these people have who see Nazis in their sleep but wouldn't recognize a real Nazi if they were Flux Capacitored back to 1943 Berlin.

I didn't say there were no ugly conservatives. Just that there is absolutely no strategic logic to carrying a weapon in that situation… except as a strategy to get ***** from one of those two women. This guy got himself wrapped up in going on crazy white lady missions. And even a purple haired liberal misfit who thinks she is anti-gun will have her panties get moist if you bring a gun to go defend some illegals.

And this guy isn't just a little bit ugly. He has MSNBC using chapGPT to make him less ugly. All the liberal fruits that work there are going "Eeeeesh! Dam son, can we fix him up a bit?" He needed all the help he can get to get ass. Hence the gun

I will say that some of the ugliest people in the country live in Minnesota. Michigan is worse (have you watched Dr Pol? That show has been on for 15 years and has yet to have an attractive customer appear on the show). But that whole cluster of miserably cold states resulted in a few hundred years of people screwing whatever warm root was most readily available.

Not really. I carry 2 spares pretty routinely.

Not defending the dude. I'm glad they smoked his dumb ass. I'm just saying carrying 2 spares is an indication of nothing other than someone wants to carry 2 spares.

These people are truly mentally ill with leftism. There is no logic to their behavior at all. They are not defending freedom. They are misfits. They are life long losers that always got picked last. They just hate us and will use whatever squirrelly justification to attack. These are absolutely the kind of folks that will kill because you are on the other team, and some backwards logic will have them feeling perfectly ok with it

Not really and not intending to quibble.

If you are hunting, working in a high crime or otherwise dangerous area, hell maybe you are driving the Escalade taking the wife out to a nice steak dinner and don't want to be ****ed with, but unless you intend to engage in law enforcement and crime I don't see the big need for multiple mags.

I am not debating your right to carry a spare mag, I am pointing out that packing spare ammo and then engaging in risky and criminal behavior does indeed indicate bad intentions (or stupidity).

Sad that someone died but if someone is so stupid as to mess with law enforcement in a riot situation, then Darwin's Law applies and bye bye.

When there were riots in my area during BLM, we stayed indoors. There were cops guarding the high traffic areas and we stayed away until everything calmed down.

Not to get too far off the topic, but it's kinda like, "I don't plan to get in a wreck on the way home, but I'm still going to wear a seatbelt."

Most of the folks I know that carry, carry at least 1 spare if not 2. A couple additional mags is not an indicator of intent. Now, if he'd had 7 or 8 extra, different story.

Biggest takeaway: regardless of what you're carrying or how much your carrying, maybe don't interfere with LEOs while they're trying to do their jobs. Or at any other time, really.

The drug she mentioned is not just a temporary paralytic drug. I'm no doctor or pharmacists, but I've listened to lots of forensic files while driving g and succinylcholine is a drug used by many of the evil people on that show to murder folks. One I recall was a woman in Texas murdering pediatric patients. Sick!

Been saying this from the beginning. If you have a problem with what law enforcement officers are doing, the time and place to voice your concerns is in a court of law with a lawyer representing you, or at the ballot box. If they have decided to detain you, fighting or arguing with them will not change that math equation in any way, but could get you killed, either through justifiable self defense like Renee Good found out, or via a tragic accident as Pretti found out. If they haven't decided to detain you, the best way to avoid forcing that decision on them is to leave them alone and let them do their jobs. None of these people are "resistance fighters". They are just loonies protecting criminals.

I hear ya and if you are an everyday carrier though I may think it's much it is indeed your right.

This chap does not strike me as being an everyday carrier. I think some intent can indeed be induced from "left my ID and CHL home, got my extra mag and chambered a round".

That smells like someone looking for trouble. I think any profile would tell you that. Enough to convict, of course not. But this is discussion and I think signs continue to point at Pretti being more than an ICU nurse.

I think you will find most folks who carry have 1 or 2 extra. If I am traveling Ill have a box in addition to spares. I understand what you are getting at but I am not sure it is a good indicator of intent. Generally, most people who carry also tend to think about being prepared more than others, ergo spares. There are much stronger indications of Perdis intent already circling. We will see if thay are legit.

Is this true?

Looks like it isn't true!

No, this claim is not true. The image and text you shared (claiming a hospital director spoke out about former employee Alex Pretti being fired three months ago for multiple complaints of inappropriate behavior) is based on fabricated misinformation.
Alex Pretti was a 37-year-old intensive care unit (ICU) registered nurse employed by the Minneapolis VA Health Care System (Veterans Affairs hospital) at the time of his death on January 24, 2026. Multiple credible sources, including fact-checks from outlets like Hindustan Times, Times Now, and reports from BBC, CNN, AP, and others, confirm he was actively working there as an ICU nurse. Colleagues and former mentors described him positively as dedicated, compassionate, and committed to caring for veterans. His coworkers held moments of silence and honored him after his death, with no mentions of any firing or misconduct in legitimate reporting.
The viral claim originates from a fake article on a site called buzzreport247.com, which falsely attributed quotes to a nonexistent "Dr. Elena Vasquez" at a made-up or unrelated "Lakeshore Medical Center." Pretti had no association with that facility, and no such doctor or complaints exist in reality. Fact-checkers have debunked this as a fabricated story spreading online, often in the context of misinformation following his fatal shooting by federal agents during protests in Minneapolis.
This appears to be part of broader disinformation efforts around the incident. Pretti was not fired; he was employed and respected in his role until his death.

An ICU nurse who cared for US military vets was falsely accused of being a 'domestic terrorist' by the Secretary of Homeland Security before a single iota of investigation had even begun. As if enough lies haven't been spread already about this man, now we have to shoot down twitter bull**** impugning his professionalism caregiving for Vets.

Yes, I'm extremely radical in my belief that the government should have limited and explicit power, that congressional representatives should be composed of people that actually live in the communities they hold power over, and that free speech and the second amendment should be absolute. I know that's very controversial for the boot licking groups you submit to.

How do you feel about a country's right to secure its own borders, enforce its own laws, and deport everyone that is here illegally?

I don't believe in open borders if that's what you're alluding to. There has to be a vetting process, we have to ensure homogeneity with the communities that we've established.

Sending out a task force with the sole purpose of "deport as many people as possible" is a moot point until we address the root causes of how they got here, how they're getting here, and most importantly, why they were unable or unwilling to follow the proper channels to do so.

Give unto Caesar.

Ummm...

We've done that. Border crossings are almost zero now.
