Haha yea, no.

We are in a world economy, a few dominos fall and our Ponzi scheme of a stock market collapses. All of the 50-75 year olds who are trying to convince themselves to support this war will turn on Trump so fast his head will spin. Then he will have basically 0 supporters left lol

We can agree on that
Deadline just extended again!

Sounds like indefinitely until agreements are agreed upon.

Iran now has quite a bit of leverage on the world and they know it. Hell, everyone knows it now.

Except a huge swath of posters on here… Iran will always have leverage over the straight based solely on their geography. There is no getting around it.

Arguably they don't even need a nuke. They now know how much power they have with the strait.

Their leverage, at the core, is they have no regard for human life, and, their "ememies" do. This could have been over a long time ago but for (understandably) the restraints of the West. The "world" has known this for fifty years. The question is, and always has been, does the "world" have the stomach to do something about it.

This is why every administration (at home and our allies) has tip-toed around the problem for decades. It remains to be seen if the West (not Trump on an island, and not just politicians) are willing to take the risk yet.

It an ideal world we can just walk away from 75 years of alliances and deeply interconnected economies. But we don't live in an ideal world........ It's not as easy as cancelling a Youtube subscription.

About 5-8 years from now the US will be in a much better position acting as the primary regional power in the Western hemisphere.

Although, getting there is going to really suck for most of us. At least we will get to watch all of the hyper inflated debt based economic bubbles pop, that will be entertaining......

No one is blaming Biden for stopping Iran from completing their nuclear weapons development program, and those Europeans are not our allies nor are their energy problems our problem.

We'll continue to sell them what fuel/oil/gas we can afford to out of the goodness of our hearts, though another of their major suppliers has announced they are terminating shipments to Germany in May. The Euro's just have to deal with the consequences of their actions/decisions, imho.

Oh I am blaming Biden for his idiocy and weakness in stopping the Iranians!

so much stupidity in one post

would love to hear how the United States equity markets are a "ponzi scheme" considering they are the most valuable markets in the entire world.

provide SPECIFICS about how you know they are a ponzi scheme, and when they will completely collapse as all ponzi schemes do.

meaning you tell us the year this "ponzi scheme" which has existed since 1792 collapses.

And those lack of values for life extends to their own peoples. Afghanistan in the 50s and 60s was more modern with Western standards in dress, music, education in the more populated cities. Was everything perfect for those still living a tribal existence outside of those areas, no. Could that have improved? Yes. But radical Islam played off of those resentments to fuel complete rejection of any western value.

Same in Iran. Was modernizing and gaining prosperity, open to Western culture. Was the Shah perfect? No. Same thing happened.

Beirut was the Riviera of the Middle East, Western and prosperous. Until Hamas and Hezbollah took over.

Further, they dont need an actual nuke...they just need the threat of making a nuke because people understand them even pursuing one is a problem.

When stocks go up or down 20% based on what somebody tweets. About the most obvious sign you're a participant in a Ponzi scheme. The only reason we might not have a dot com style crash soon is because we will try and print our way out of it.

Still doesn't make it a Ponzi scheme. I don't think you understand the definition of that.

The stock market is absolutely partially driven by psychology as investors are constantly trying to price in the future. And we will certainly try to print our way of any downturn. That strategy was decided long ago.

It's a Ponzi scheme much like social security just with a bit of flavor added. It wasn't always that way, but ever since Americans 401k's started automatically being deposited it's really just white collar America's piggy bank. As layoffs continue we will find out how much these American equities are really worth. It's going to be a whole lot less than what they are currently priced at.

Most of the EU is an export market (and extremely protectionist). If they cant build due to rising energy costs theyre absolutely screwed. Which Trump warned them about during his first term and they laughed in his face.

We're giving foreign bailouts now? Not America First. I'm old enough to remember when Obama was bailing out banks and the automakers and the folks who support this war were up in arms about it and rightfully so. Guess this bailout of a foreign country is ok though… just American's tax dollars going to a Muslim country, that again, the same people who support the war, loathe.

Something is not sitting well for this statement about a US taxpayer funded "bailout" of the UAE.
A) They are rich enough
B) They have the resources to fix their stuff damaged by the Iranian regime.

So my question is whether Bessent has identified Iranian funds in UAE that we were going to take but instead will let the UAE have them? Is that what is really happening? Those funds being viewed as reparations for damages caused to the UAE?

FYI, the narcissist's prayer comes in handy when dealing with the cultists.

He didn't say that. <<<<< The step the cultists were in yesterday when responding to you.
And if he did, it wasn't that bad.
And if it was, that's not a big deal. <<<<<<< The step they're in this morning after Dear Leader confirmed it.
And if it is, that's not his fault.
And if it was, he didn't mean it.
And if he did, you deserved it.

It has not happened yet. If it does happen, it will be a currency swap like we did for Argentina. We make money on those. Google is your friend...or you can just whine at any headline published.
“It was miraculous. It was almost no trick at all, he saw, to turn vice into virtue and slander into truth, impotence into abstinence, arrogance into humility, plunder into philanthropy, thievery into honor, blasphemy into wisdom, brutality into patriotism, and sadism into justice. Preston Stewart is Ukraine biased and hates President Trump so take what he says with a grain of salt and know his biases.

He's definitely pro-Ukraine, anti-Russia. But I never got the vibe that he was anti-Trump. I felt he gave praise when it was due and called people out when necessary. Regardless, I don't feel like anything he said in his video is incorrect.

His podcast "Unclassified" is pure one sided, anti Trump about geopolitics. his partner doing most of the snot slinging but Preston goes along with it.
