Another deeper look at it from someone I respect in the guntuber world.
I will say that I am not a Glock fan. Nor am I a Glock hater. I will admit that I am a LOT closer towards the hater side though. That being said, this does seem to be a worthwhile generation upgrade that by all accounts was driven entirely by customer feedback (for once?).
The grip texture and shape looks great and leans towards the PDP style which is heavenly. New optics plate system looking like to be a instant upgrade over MOS. That's a massive win there. Flat face trigger, gas pedal, undercut, larger beavertail....all W's in my eyes.
Roger does say he thinks he saw the price being around $750ish, which is more than the MSRP TBTV was alluding to. But overall, this will sell well of course and should be a no brainer if a first purchase for a Glock.
I don't own any Glocks myself anymore but if a Gen 6 G26 COA model comes up later.....man. I'd be tempted. Something about those Fat Babies.
