3 replied with something like "too busy." Keep in mind, my request was 2 weeks in advance for a simple cake.
The rest did not respond. All I can guess is that they don't check the forms on their website or check their emails.

For when? November? Most of my November has been booked since at least September. December is nearly full as well. And I don't even do things that need decorations.

I've looked into changing my home bakery to a brick and mortar and the profits are just not there.

Sweet Pea Confections was able to get me in with exactly 2 weeks notice BUT I don't think that is the norm for her. I had assumed I was reaching out late.
My customers think so.

Do you not know when special events are happening? I don't do cakes and can usually accommodate on fairly short notice but not in November/December.
