Can anyone point me in the right direction of some free wifi hotspots in the Harlingen/San Benito area?

ok you gotta couple of options but not many..
harlingen still has not hit the revolution yet..

first mcdonalds and starbucks on 77 and ed carey have wifi but you have to pay to use them.

the RAHC center in the treasure hills area has free internet they just give you an ethernet cable. other than that i do no know.
