Time to buy tires to replace the OEMs on my wife's 23 Expedition. We live in CO so looking at something to get us around town and up the mountains in the winter. Was originally thinking KO3s or bf Goodrich trail terrains. However, these cross climates have caught my eye. Anyone with experience and know if they perform better than the competition in the snow particularly?

Back in 2022 I had put on some Michelin LTX AT2 tires on our Highlander so we could be prepared to drive back and forth to Colorado. We used to live in CO Springs.

Tires have been excellent so far and wearing very nicely. Looks like they are discontinued though according to the Discount Tire website. Not sure if they were updated into a different model?

ETA: maybe now is listed as the Defender LTX M/S

He have these on our Fusion. They're very good and quiet.

defenders LTX and AWD should do just fine regardless.

If you are needing something really good in snow, I think Vredestin makes very good 3 peak all weather tires.

Looks like they don't make the defenders for 22s.

Yea just checked again and it worked for me. Don't know if I was looking at a different model or what. Thanks for the heads up.

Live in Colorado front range. Love the Michelin cross climates on our SUV

Open country HT?

Replaced the factory Hankook Dynapro HT. Never understood why Ford puts a HT tire on a 4x4 Expedition. So they got replaced with all terrain Toyo's
