I am looking at a used one. Does anyone have any experience with one in terms of reliability or issues? This has the 2.4L turbo 4 cylinder and 8 speed transmission I believe. Thanks in advance!

We shopped them before deciding on a GX. No issues we found, my wife just preferred the higher profile of the GX.

Seemed like a good car with plenty of comforts.

We bought new, and it's 5 years old with about 75k miles. My wife loves it, and we have not had a single problem with it up to this point. She went from an Expedition, to the Highlander. She wasn't sure about the change, but after a couple of weeks she really fell in love with it. I could see us purchasing another one to replace it when the time comes.

The new Tacoma has a more robust and overbuilt version of the Highlander engine. It may be worth looking at too.

Thanks for the replies. We looked at it yesterday and really liked it with the exception of the 3rd row seat being a little cramped.

Go look at the grand Highlanders

A 6 ft person fits in the third row on it
