My grandfather on my dad's side was born in 1896 which I know many have that beat here. But, he died in the 1930's because he was stabbed to death for $10 in Fort Worth by his brother that was arrested but never charged because the brother would not identify him before he died.

That brother, that my middle name came from , ended up one of the first president of the union stockyards. O, another uncle got taken on a midnight ride and was found the next morning. He was not robbed of his cash.
