### USA U-20 Men's National Team Schedule at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup

The 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup is currently underway in Chile (September 27 to October 19), featuring the USA in Group F alongside France, South Africa, and New Caledonia. The U.S. team, which qualified as runners-up in the 2024 Concacaf U-20 Championship, has a strong history of reaching the quarterfinals in the last four editions of the tournament. All matches are broadcast live in the USA on FOX Sports networks (FS1, FS2, FOX Soccer Plus) for English-language coverage, with Spanish-language options on Telemundo platforms (Universo, Telemundo). Streaming is available via the FOX Sports app, FOXSports.com, and Fubo (which carries FOX channels).

Here are the USA's group stage matches (all times Eastern; played at Estadio El Teniente in Rancagua, Chile):

| Date | Opponent | Kickoff Time (ET) | English TV/Stream | Spanish TV/Stream |
|------------|-------------------|-------------------|----------------------------|-------------------|
| Mon, Sept. 29 | vs. New Caledonia | 7:00 p.m. | FS1, FOX Sports app | Universo |
| Thu, Oct. 2 | vs. France | 7:00 p.m. | FS2, FOX Sports app | Universo |
| Sun, Oct. 5 | vs. South Africa | 5:00 p.m. | FS2, FOX Sports app | Telemundo |

- **Group Stage Advancement**: The top two teams from each group, plus the four best third-place teams, advance to the Round of 16 (starting October 8).
- **Full Tournament Coverage**: All 52 matches are available on FS1, FS2, or FOX Soccer Plus in English. Check FOX Sports or the FOX Sports app for real-time updates on knockout-stage matchups if the USA advances.
- **Additional Viewing Notes**: If you're outside the USA, a VPN may be needed to access streams. For highlights and replays, visit USSoccer.com or the FIFA+ app.

The USA enters with a talented roster featuring MLS academy products and overseas-based players, aiming to build on their consistent deep runs in recent tournaments.

He got called back to Barca. He's their backup.

Sorry. I didn't realize it wasn't the latest roster.

Mexico majorly outplaying Brazil. But still tied due to mistakes. Mexico isn't finishing.

This isn't fair. These guys are pros against amateurs

Benja and Cole play in top 5 leagues.

This keeper for New Caledonia is pretty good. Only reason why it's not 5 nil.

Benja with the hat.

Norris got one.

My daughter played with his sister who will probably be in the NWSL soon. Shes going to FSU next year but might sign before.

They finished 2nd in Oceania.

Apparently they're with their 3 best players.

Norris with a brace now.

Campbell is getting pissed. He hasn't scored and Norris took it away from him. lol.

Campbell reminds me of Pulsic and Reyna on the ball. He's not quite at their level but I think he can get there.

Keeper makes a mistake. New Caledonia scores to make it 8-1 and they acted like they just won the World Cup.

Cole finally gets his goal. 9-1.

Thoughts.

Benja was the leader. He was really good. He's going to do big things. And learned a ton from Messi, Suarez, Ramos and Busquetes. Hopefully can can break into Parma and they stay up.

Cole Campbell reminds me a ton of our Americans that grew up in Germany. . He's strong in the ball and get pissed every time they don't score. That reminds me of Gio, Haaling at Dordmund. He beeds to work on his. Right foot.

Lots of good players in there but these 2 are highest profile.

For sure. I've been following this group for years in particular since I'm friends with Norris' parents and they've always been competitive and have beaten some really solid squads.

South Africa gave it to France pretty good. Took it right to them without fear. Zidane's son gave up a penalty to South Africa in the 30th minute or so but it took a while to get the coach's challenge completed.

I shouldn't be surprised, but there were so many players of African descent on the field I had to think twice to figure out which team the announcers were talking about (my tv was watching me more than I was watching the game....). Both teams were stacked with African players. Both teams even had African managers.

I guess I haven't been paying much attention to French players lately.

Check me if I'm wrong, Sandy, but I'm thinking it was in reference to all the French players who are from Africa, not about South Africans being from Africa. Common sense, you know?

Yea.... I got what you meant. And you got what I meant regarding the French players, not South Africa's.

Also, I absolutely love how the stadium celebrated for New Caledonia when they scored their goal. Underdogs getting a goal in a World Cup should be celebrated. Good for them for continuing to play throughout the entire game.

I'm probably peeing in Cheerios here, but the fact that New Caledonia makes the U20 WC should tell you something about the event.

Lots of different strategies out there, but most countries with good domestic leagues want their youth to develop in their clubs and not waste time with long overseas competitions. Again, most, not all. Some good countries do care (Spain for one, IRRC from a couple years ago when I looked), but there are also many big names that never even qualify because it doesn't fit their development strategy.

I think we tend to send our better guys, and that likely speaks to the sheer lack of development strategy between USSF and MLS. Maybe I'm wrong.

Either way, I don't put much stock in a competition that a solid 2/3 of the good countries don't really care about.

Truly sorry about your Cheerios. Believe it or not, all that said, I appreciate the thread and will check in from time to time.

I don't disagree with much of what you're saying and several of our best guys weren't released by their clubs.

It's a good development for young guys and it's fun to watch.

New Caledonia is probably going to make the World Cup, fwiw.
