Hey everyone, I'm going to be in Chicago tomorrow and most the day Friday. I know a lot of yall recently went there for the ND game, so I'd love to get some recommendations on the best pizza + Italian food, bars, and attractions near where I'm staying.

Hotel is right on the river in the North River district. Wrigleyville will probably keep us occupied a good amount of the time as well, so let me know if ya got any places to eat or drink at in that area as well!

Agree with the architectural boat tour at sunset. Lou Malnati's is right near there inside the Wrigley Building. It's fine. Over hyped but still good pizza.
Starbucks has a reserve roastery just up the mag mile. Pretty neat and only a couple of those in the world.
Shaw's Crab House was good.
Griffin Museum of Science and Industry was really neat. Pay to go inside the submarine if you can.
Dearly Beloved was a nice cocktail bar.

Any of the bars right on the river for beers.

We just did the Architectural boat tour for the 2nd time and loved it again. First Lady is the best tour operator.

Our favorite pizza is Pequod's, it was a short uber for us.

And our favorite bar/snacks place is Three Dots and a Dash. Great tiki bar and fun snacks!

Another vote for Pequod's for pizza and the river boat architecture tour. Walk around Millennium Park. Art museums aren't typically my go-to when traveling, but the Chicago Art Institute is cool. For Italian, we recently went to Quartino and Rosebud on Rush. Both are very solid for a good price. If you like sandwiches, Ricobene's, Mr. Beef, Al's. I've heard great things about Johnnie's, but haven't been

Thought their burger was great but the fried bologna sandwich was the best thing we had at Au Cheval. So unexpected but so good.

Agreed. I ate at Au Cheval NYC last week and had the bologna sandwich as an appetizer before the burger. It was sofa king good.
