Getting serious into playing more (I know i know)......for those of you who have been playing a while, what do I really need in my bag for every outing?

I'd like to think I'm more than a casual but two kids 5 and under limits my opportunities to play as often as I'd like.

My bag ebbs and flows depending on the season, but a few mainstays:
- sunscreen
- Frogg Toggs
- extra pair of socks
- range finder
- protein bar/jerky from 2+ years ago just in case
- extra gloves (I buy the four packs at Sam's. They're great.)
- like 5 small towels for various reasons (cleaning clubs, wiping sweat, dunk one in water to clean golf balls, etc.)

I only have 6 clubs since I threw most of them into the lake last round. 4, 6, 7, PW, Dr. Knockdown, and ball retriever

Yes, I too had a 7 wood before it mysteriously found its way into the lake (I threw it there). I also had a 3 hybrid which was thrown into the lake. Great clubs

D, 3W, 5W, 7W, 5-9 iron, PW, 50/56/60 wedge, putter

I have my 56 bent to 55 to keep 5 degree gaps from PW to 60.

Your two posts have legitimately made me laugh out loud. So much gold here. Love the parenthetical pointing out that you threw it there. And love that they are "great clubs" but ended up in the lake.

Sometimes clubs just need to go in lakes to get the bad energy out of your bag.
