TXPA from Real Ale. Nice and light. Crisp and dry. Would make a great summer beer.

**** off Tuesday. Was at Cerberal earlier and was looking at what else was around. Don't know how I haven't discovered Bruz already but they're damn good. If you enjoy Belgium beers definitely check them out.

Tarnation Strong Ale from St. Arnold. Very malty with lots of caramel and a little roast. Pretty good.

Not beer related but I'll be in BCS for the day tomorrow. Haven't been in longer than I care to admit. What's a good spot for lunch and maybe a decent beer selection? Ok, maybe kind of beer related. Koppe was always our go to, just wondering if any new stuff has popped up that's worth checking out.

Last Time we were there we picked up Tacos at Don Chente's and brought them to Blackwater Draw to sample some beers.

We have a Plucker's now. It is on University Dr. behind Grub Burger. I would say Carney's, but they are not open for lunch.

I'm a fan of Chubby's Public House in Bryan. They have good burgers and half-off pints on Wednesday's.

Good to hear Carney's has survived for all these years. Have they always served food? I don't recall going for anything but beers back in the day.

Not sure when they started serving food. I only started going there again in the last year or so.

Well, I got overruled, had my son with me and he wanted Koppe. Couldn't go wrong with a burger and a shiner. Thanks guys. Seems like a lot has changed in a short time up there. Haven't been down university by north gate in a while, hardly recognized it.

Koppe Bridge is always a good option.

That's a nice gift. And we have decorated for Christmas as well.

Rogue has shut down operations. Makes sense as I barely buy them and I'm in Oregon, but I've always thought that Dead Guy is a solid beer.

Definitely worth it if you've never tried it before. Think of it like buying a nice bottle of bourbon, as you can drink it over the course of a few months in the same way.

Just swung by the beer store. Apparently BCBS is going back to small format 12 oz I think 4 packs. The variants they got this year are the cherry & praline ones.

Today's Friday share beers. The draught in the glass is St. Arnold Christmas Ale, delicious. Unlabeled bottle is my "Bourbon Barrel" aged Imperial Stout. At 13% it gets your attention. St. Arnold Tarnation I posted about a week or so ago. The Intergalactic from Spyglass is absolutely delicious. Wernesgruner Dark Lager from Aldi was great for a $6 four pack, I really like their Pilsner. The Diffusion Chile Beer from Manhattan Project was ok but the 4oz taster was enough for me.

New (to me) can flavors this week: Have not tried the Morning Haze or Starlit, yet.

New beer ratings this week: (I'm a bit high compared to average.)
