Funny. Never seen a pan like that. I assume it's for cornbread but we always used a cast iron skillet or regular muffin pan.

Heat the pan when you pre-heat the oven. Brush with 50/50 melted bacon fat and butter just prior to pouring in the butter. They come right out and taste like cornbread hush puppy hybrid
