I use cream cheese, white american from the deli, cheddar or jack, cream of shroom, can of fire roasted tomatoes, chorizo, diced pickled jalapenos, hatch green chili, cilantro, and whatever bbq seasoning I feel like shaking over the top.

Smoke @275 until melted, stir, then smoke another hour or so.
Staff - take out the trash.

Everything about that recipe sounds amazing...except for cream of shroom

Haha great pic.

I was skeptical as well. My guess is that it just adds some filler and contributes to the creamy texture. If you find cream of jalapeƱo use it.

What is the purpose of keeping each ingredient separate like that? Seems that mixing them up prior would give you a more uniform consistency, and therefore a better melting consistency.

You occasional stir it as the cheese melts. It blends well.
