What would the best cappucino machine without totally breaking the budget? I know there are some high end machines for the serious coffee folks, but we'd just like a machine to make some lattes at home. Anything at a decent price point that won't self destruct after 2 months?

I think you need to define how much you are willing to drop. I have a Gaggia Classic and a Rocky Rancilio grinder. That combo was like $750 IIRC but it's been a bunch of years since I bought them. The Gaggia is less than the Rocky if bought as separates. They still work perfectly today.

For your price range, I'd go with this:

We have the next level up which has the automatic milk frother, but this one puts you right at $550.

Have bought many things from Whole Latte Love including our espresso machine, and they've been good over the years. Nice rewards program too!
