Does anyone have the recipe for the Tinsley's rolls or a copycat? Thanks in advance.

What is Tinsley's? A google search turned up a closed-down place in Huntsville.

Yeah, there used to be many of them in central and east Texas. The rolls were excellent. I was hoping someone might have the recipe or one very similar.

A little research says the recipe is a secret.

Since they're yeast rolls, I'd just mix up milk, active dry yeast, sugar, butter, flour, and water, and make a dough. Let rise, punch down, divide into little balls in rows in a tray, let rise again until they puff up and touch each other, and then bake for 30 minutes or until browned. Then brush with butter once you take them out of the oven.

So your basic yeast rolls recipe.
