Please explain. I've had the creamy one (I assume that's more "traditional"), and I've had one that seemed to be somewhat tomato/broth based and spicier. Both were good at the time.

Can't say Manhattan is my favorite style either. There is a reason New England clam chowder is well known and Manhattan is not as common.
