The gordita post reminded me I want to try to make fry bread before the annual de-fatass-myself in January period
Earlier this year I was in Phoenix and ate at The Fry Bread House. If you are familiar w/their version of this native american staple any recipes to share?
There are as many recipes online as there are tribes and while all similar they are likely all different as well. I'm looking for the soft chewiness that FBH in Phoenix has in their bread.
I'd damn near book a flight just to eat this again! I had it w/their green chili beef. Not sure if that is exactly what is pictured below but it all looks the same once the toppings are layered.
