Was steaming cauliflower in my All-Clad. Got distracted and ended up burning the hell out of it. Not the first time I've ever burnt SS but first in a long time and first with my AC.
Got kind of weird metallic smell; never experienced that before. Are these fumes toxic? I aired out the joint as best as I could but I breathed in a good bit getting from stove to sink. Not too worried about me but more so my kids who were in the next room.
