Using HEB pork for carnitas for jerk pork?

I may have already messed this up, but I got some jerk seasoning while I was in Jamaica and I'm going to cook it tomorrow.

I bought pork for carnitas meat from HEB. It's about 2"x2" cubed pieces of pork shoulder. It's being marinated right now. Will that work well for jerk pork?

Also, how would you cook it? Grill? Oven?

I also am marinating some chicken that I'll be grilling over charcoal. But won't this pork need to cook a lot longer?

Thanks for any advice

This is what I bought. HEB website says to grill indirect at 300 degrees for 75 minutes. I'm just worried where I'm going to be cooking tomorrow I won't have the grill space to do all of that. Would doing it in the oven be an option?

Yes. How would I do that?

The hard part is gonna be getting enough liquid to not throw off the burn warning, but not too much that you'd lose the jerk flavor.

I'd start by browning the pork in about 1/2c lard or avocado oil
Deglaze the pan with a 1/2c of water
Add any remaining jerk marinade
Add traditional jerk liquids (OJ, Lime J, Soy) until pork is about 3/4 covered.

Pressure cook on high 20 minutes and then allow 30 mins for natural pressure release. Strain pork and crisp up in a wok or cast iron skillet if desired.

Thank you for the suggestion. I ended up putting the cubes on skewers and grilling them on my big green egg before I went to the get together. Came out great. Everyone loved the jerk marinade
