Left hand fork down as in European style. If eating something not requiring a knife and using just a fork in my right hand (as I'm right handed) then up. All depends on if using a knife - I HATE the cutting something and then moving the fork into the other hand to pick up the food. As Forrest says, in switching - stupid is as stupid does.

Does the vortex in your sink rotate the other direction in the southern hemisphere versus the northern? If so, what happens at the equator - a singularity exists - how mind blowing is that!
