We've got to figure out some kind of way to make him a threat on offense. He's playing like 25 minutes a game and he's scored 9 combined points in our last four games. I know he's out there for defense but we can't be playing 4 on 5 on offense when we're already bad at it to start with.

You have a guy with an NBa body and all he needs is to go to eighth grade basketball camp and learn how to play basketball. He hasn't developed one iota since being at A&M. It's a shame.
Players under Buzz actually developing throughout their career here seems to be the exception.. not the rule.Method Man said:

He's developed defensively. He does a much better job of defending without fouling and timing up blocks where he might actually get them instead of goaltending once a game.
But his offense is just awful.

He cant dribble or shoot. Has no idea where to go on offense. The players are too skilled today. I dont care how good his defense is he has no skill. He is a net liability but yet Buzz keeps throwing him out there. Andy is not much better.
Seems like a lifetime ago when he was the spark that propelled us over Georgia here after we completely **** the bed in the first half yet it is was only 15 days ago and it's been downhill for that guy ever since.
Part of me thinks we should scrap our entire offensive and defensive game plan and just go all in on pressing like an old school Arkansas team.
Teams are doing a better job ant figuring out our defense and our offense is just unbelievably bad. Maybe we can create some turnovers and get some easy buckets.
Probably too late in the season to go too crazy but our defensive breakdowns have been too consistent the last few games.

He's hit some mid range jumpers this year that actually look like he's in control and form isn't horrible (or as horrible as his 3 point shooting form).
He elevates and takes a balanced squared up shot decently from 6-10 feet out, at least I've seen it.

The most disappointing aspect of the game was how easily Vandy was beating our defenders 1v1 with dribble penetration.

Like I legitimately thought our quality of shot was really good against Tennessee considering how elite they are defensively. Even tonight the offense wasn't that infuriating to me. I've been more mad with the defense
What is our offensive game plan? Bad ball movement, half hearted screens and poor shooting seem to be the plan.

We don't have a coach capable of that. If we did, we would have done something different already.
Buzz's idea if adjusting the offense is running the offense through..

I mean, we don't get points for quality of shot. We have to find a way to get the ball into the basket. At this point, our shot selection could be world class and it wouldn't matter because our ability to shoot is at a second grade level.
