No debate today. That's the kind of DAWG effort we need from Agee every night.

Came over to the basketball page today to recapture some joy.

Agee was tough yesterday. I was happy to see a better defensive effort across the board. Just seemed like guys were individually fighting a little harder.

Agee for sure was the alpha dog yesterday but there was a whole lot to like all around. I'm not going to fool myself into thinking that's really what we are going to be consistently but I am seeing improvement as a team and that's what we're looking for.

I think the big thing we're starting to see is players settling into roles. I know people didn't like this phrase from Buzz but we're starting to play more predictable basketball as a team in the sense that guys are getting better at knowing where their teammates are going to be, how they're going to read situations, etc.

We had some really impressive passes on basket cuts and off screens yesterday.

The improvement is a testament to the quality of practice and instruction the team is given in preparation. Reoles, responsibilities, and recognition are blossoming.

Agree. But you can't ignore the quantity of those things too.
