Ags move up to 25 in the RPI after the weekend I wish I had posted the initial rankings last week for reference but I think that is about a 7 spot jump/ Still work to do to be in the top 16 rpi.

Kentucky comes in with an RPI of 36 this weekend

The RPI of 25 is 12th in the SEC. All but 2 of our losses have been to teams in the top 31. Louisiana is at 57 and Texas State is at 62.

Note the lack of sweeps not in Davis Diamond. (OU should complete sweep though.)

Ole Miss coach is going to be mic'd up tomorrow for the TV broadcast. I am wondering if OU scores multiple TDs again what this will be like.

Alabama struggled more than I thought they might - I can't tell how "real" they are yet. Pollsters have liked them so far. We lost a game at Missouri late last year when we were rolling though.

With Tennessee series loss Texas should move up to #1 this week, right? Baylor games didn't help or hurt them but Tech wasn't super impressive this weekend vs UCF. Top 4 are still ahead of rest of pack...

It feels like South Carolina has taken a step back since their narrow miss getting into WCWS last year.

Auburn just took the weekend off!? I can't find any cancelled games for them.

Some really low scoring games not involving A&M / OU. Aggies scored more runs in our series (26) than the combined teams did in four other series.

Ole Miss is an interesting team. Probably an average SEC softball team that will likely be 0-12 in SEC when A&M heads to Oxford. They start their conference season with Alabama, Texas, OU and Tenn then an off week before A&M comes to town. That is a brutal schedule.
