this is going to be huge! We're getting to December and she is getting into top form. We haven't needed her to swing 50 times a match. Other player of the year candidates (save Nebraska) are swinging 40-60 times a match. We have enough talent that we don't have to rely solely on Lednicky anymore. She's rested and ready to go when we'll have to lean on her

Oh I'm not saying she's bad. She's a good player. After watching Kentucky and Tennessee - there just seems to be a bit of a difference. Might just be because we've been off a week.

She's not necessarily elite, but she's really good and has helped us to get where we are! She does have her moments where her reaction time may be slow or touch may be off. But more often than not she's good and is our captain!

Next year we'll have a tough battle between Addi Applegate and two incoming freshman Gabi Rodriguez and Jenna Thedford! Should be fun! I'm really high on Rodriguez, she played for the U21 USA team this past summer!
