Anyone else wondering why Elko is on a laptop camera?

With the amount of remote press he's done this year, can the athletics department set up something that would at least be equal to a mid level streamer? Sounds like they got him a mic. Can they get him a better camera?

I disagree. He seems to really enjoy going on the podcasts with guys who aren't traditional sports media nerds. It does seem like coaches in general don't have a ton of respect for sports reporters, but neither do I so I completely understand.

It's an exercise of not giving the other team bulletin board material, tipping your hand for game planning, no commitments on job searches, and no commitments on injuries.

It's why i go straight to comments for any big items.

I get it, but most coaches at this level realize it's part of the job - putting some positive energy and commentary out there, not a thin veneer over disdain.
