theyre both equally great i think, the kids more of an assist man cause theres other guys on his team that can score when he sets em up and AO puts in more pucks cause he doesn't have many support players so hes gotta run the show himself

From what I hear he's got the class to go with all the skills. Good thing for the NHL and the city of Pittsburgh.

Crosby is incredible. It's great for the NHL to have him and Ovechkin in the league.

Ovechkin would blow crosby out of the water if he had 1/2 the supporting cast that sid the kid has

I was in Pittsburgh the night the Caps played the Penguins last week. Put $100 in my pocket and went down to the arena. Couldn't get in. Its amazing what that kid has done for hockey (esp in Pittsburgh).

I'm surprised $100 wouldnt get you in. That sucks, but I'm really glad to hear it. Nothing better than the passionate hockey fan.

I'm watching SCSU vs Minnesota on the Big 10 Network right now. This broadcast puts the crap that KDFI & FSN rolls out there for the Stars to shame. I love Daryl & Razor, but the camera work & the clarity is 100% better. Big 10 Network has their stuff together.

took my brother to stars/pens last year (on his b-day...we're big pens fans) and sat in the row behind the bench...talk about incredible.

- malkin (who I think may be a top 10 player in the league, but still a bit early to tell)
- recchi got his 500th goal in the game
- pens win a shootout

i don't know if you can say who's better yet, ovechkin or crosby; ao may have more raw talent, but sid's feel for the game, knowledge of the game, leadership, and the fact that he is the best ambassador of the game since gretzky outweight ao's talent...just my (biased) opinion though.

Tap on them brakes. Sidney has a high-ankle sprain and is probably out for at least a couple weeks.

I was also at that Stars/Pens game.. .that's the most electric I've seen that stadium outside of playoff games since it opened. Everytime Sid hit the ice the crowd buzzed. I'm hopefull that with the schedule being tweaked we'll get to see him more often than once every 3 or 4 years. I don't know if we need to say who is better right now. Just enjoy them. They both are immensely talented and are different players and they both have the charisma to be stars. I just wished the league promoted some of its other players as much as they do these two.

gary bettman can thank sid and vech for being who they are since they make him look good, and all the other franchise/elite players in the league, after all he's done to ruin the NHL
