On Friday night in Oxford, Texas A&M struggled against left-handed starter Hunter Elliott, who fanned 11 Aggies as the Rebels took the series opener, 5-3. The Aggies hit at a .194 clip and failed to cash in with runners on base, stranding nine on the night.
