Robert Simmons (possibly the nation's top HS sprinter)

and

William Wynne (??? did I spell that right)


Anyone have any info on these two? I've heard they are two of the best and they both have us in their final list of schools.

Simmons is a 200/400 runner, supposedly with LSu being the main competition. Wynne is a 400 hurdles guy that Florida seems to be the primary competitor.

Well, you can't win championships in distance, but we still need a few to compete with.

Any news on who we signed?

Are we going to sign any more track recruits? The initial list of 8 signees on the A&M web page was decent, but I did not see any real difference makers. I thought the women's team had a commitment from Vashti Thomas, the #1 ranked hurdler in the nation from California. She is not included on the list found on the A&M website. Maybe they have not received all of their signees paperwork yet. Anyway, I did see where William Wynne, the top ranked hurdler from Georgia signed with Florida. He would have been a good one!
