So I have a buddy who bets the ponies.
He knows how to make bets and such, read the little paper they sell at the track, but not a genius by any stretch on how to bet. He bets with some knowledge I guess you could say.
He bet on Barbaro when he won....walked off with about 9,000 grand.
He be again this weekend, in Oklahoma, and walked out with $8000 on a $9600 win (taxes). Keyed a horse in a superfecta and the other 3 horses were "long shots" and he boxed those 3...and yeah, he won it on a $8 bet.
Guy has the most luck betting on horses I have ever seen.
Has a nice house, with pool. A great car, that he got a great deal on, which the dealership wouldn't extend the same deal to me.
Sounds like Aggie Football to me.
