The mens tennis team match against the Demon Decons has been postponed from this afternoon at 6 until tomorrow afternoon at 6. Hopefully the bad weather will move out and we can play outdoors.

nice comeback, pretty gutsy win!

A tremendous win for the Aggies. We still did not compete at number three doubles, and Steven Shields had a hard time on line six. Conor continued his impressive play on line one. Austin lost a tough match on line two in three sets. Wil won a very tough match on line three in three sets, Chris overcame a rough start to win on line four in three sets. Mathew Bain overcame obstacle after obstacle to win on line five in a third set tigh breaker. He overcame serveral match points to stay in the game, and eventually force the tigh breaker. Vingtage Bain. We spent a lot of energy tonight. It will be interesting to see how we come out against a good Indiana team later on today at 6:00pm.

i saw a little bit of indiana playing smu this week... smu won at 1-3 and indiana won 4-6 and dbls...

they seem to compete well and have some grinders down below, but i would think the ags are too strong at the 1-3 and can pull a match down below...but if shields is at 6, i think he goes down to their guy, he looked pretty solid

Great win. For this team to take it to the next level, they will need to start winning more doubles points.

Lost doubles point again tonight to Indy.

Ags win 5-2. Freshman won handily at 2 and three. Chris won in straight sets on four. Bain in three sets at 5, Conor in three sets at one and Kayvon lost in straight sets at six. Good match.

Where's Jerry? Is he injured?

Raven...at this point of the season how would you characterize your play overall?

We are very young, especially with Jerry no longer playing. The young guys are even better than advertised. Conor is playing well. Doubles is a disaster and will bite us hard at some point. Bain is a gamer and continues to lead by example. I think our best tennis is ahead, but we have no room for injuries or other issues. I think chemistry is good, especially with the number of new players. Steve and Bob are working hard and are showing what good coaches they are. All in all, I would say Steve and Bob are laying a good foundation for the future of Aggie tennis.

the frosh are totally legit and this team can compete at the top 3 with about any team in the country....

gonna struggle at 6 and doubles with the better teams.....

so the middle of lineup will be the key, i can see a 2nd round ncaa and a shot at sweet 16 with a good draw and things falling in place

another big time recruit next year and in 2010 a legit title shot
