Anyone have any idea what time the Serra/St. Pierre fight might be? I'm assuming they'd show some other fights before the big one. It says online they start broadcasting at 7 pm. I want to go to the Maroon & White game, but I also want to watch the UFC fight. Just wondering if I'd have time to do both.

that's why 95% of the people were saying last time. let me tell you everyone in the Toyota Center including me was stunned.

this past year and half has repeatedly showed us there is no certainty in mma.

yep, GSP just dominated him throughout. you know it was brutal when they stop the fight from knees to the body.

on another note, Khalib Starnes just flushed his UFC career down the drain. how do you run away from your opponent the entire match especially when you are doing in front of your own countrymen?

that was pretty bad. even when the guy was heckling him, and he could've gotten a shot in, he just kept backing away.

Barnes was labeled as a quiter on the reality show. He hasn't shown too much in any of his fights either. The only time I've seen him semi-agressive is against Leben.

Serra was shown up for the little italian b1+ch he is.

GSP and Anderson Silva are clearly the best p4p in the world. That would be a fight to see if GSP came up to 185lbs.

How were the Franklin and Bisping fights?

Franklin and Lutter had a nice grappling session in the first round. Lutter got some dominant positions early and almost got Franklin arm-barred, but he rolled out. Seemed like Lutter got gassed at the end of the 1st and Franklin just overwhelmed him in the 2nd.

Bisping won after MCarthy couldn’t get up after the end of the first. It was somewhat slow to start, but Bisping threw what seemed to be about 15 knees in a row as time expired in the first. McCarthy blocked a lot of them but the few that landed just crushed him.

Oddly enough, my wife watches mma. I used to think she watched it just to hang out with me, but she busted out, “Do you think anyone on the current roster will really beat Silva at 185 or will they have to start looking outside the UFC.”
