Did anybody notice that all three of the Aggie's Big 12 Indoor individual champions were from the state of Texas? Jake Boone from Bellville, Tommy Bonn from Lockhart and Angeles Pantoja from Laredo.

Even three of the four members of the men's DMR champions were from Texas: Bonn, Jayme D'Agnolo from Sugar Land and Bryan Kelley from Emory, Texas. Only Juan DeBastos from Argentina was a non-Texan (but I heard he got here as fast as he could).

I think it's cool that so many scholarships at a state school are being used on developing that state's high school athletes. Just my opinion.

I think the Texas A&M Men's Track Team stands a good chance of repeating as BIG XII Champions this outdoor season. They had a rough time with indoor, but I think they will show up for outdoor

I agree that the potential to repeat is there, but the Aggies do have to replace a national champion (Tolga) and a national runner-up (Bashir).

But, unlike indoors, the Aggies will have the talents of Brandon Evans and Mike Hummell back on the track. Josh Ralston will be throwing a discus instead of a 35-lb. weight and Luke Marrs won't be left at home like he was last weekend.

And Daingerfield's finest, Kyle Caskey, will team with Josh Ralston give the Aggies the Big 12's top 1-2 punch in the discus!!

Is that better?

As far as replacements for Tolga and Ramzy, the Men's team has 119 of 159 points returning...That is 119 points not counting the new recruits and transfers.
With a healthy Brandon Evans and a little help from veterans like Kyle Caskey and Mike Hummel, the mens team will dominate once again.

I like the way you think BIG XII...

Bryan Kelley is going to be a horse in the quarter, which is important since Buhl's bowl game knee injury.

Andrew Gamble going to give the Aggies points in the triple jump.

Chris Pinnock is going to keep former schoolboy phenom Jermaine Cooper 0-fer at the Big 12 Outdoor.

Sam transfer Chris Sitka is a big-timer in the spear.

And, of course, all these newcomers are from the state of Texas...

Don't forget about Ellison Collins. He scored points in the high jump and triple jump at Indoor Conference while still wearing that football body.

I'd like to see the pole vaulters turn it up a notch. I think Chad Walters has the talent to score good points here.

And John Bloom had to pull out of the hep at Indoor due to injury but he's a good bet to add to that pile of multi-event points in the decathlon.
