The local television schedule was released today for Round Two for the Stars vs. the Sharks.

Game 1 (April 25, 9 pm) is exclusive on VERSUS.
Game 2 (April 27, 8 pm) is on My 27-HD.
Game 3 (April 29, 6:30 pm) is on My 27-HD.
Game 4 (April 30, 8 pm) is on FSN-HD.
Game 5 (May 2, 9 pm) is exclusive on VERSUS.
Game 6 (May 4, 8 pm) is on FSN-HD.
Game 7 (May 6, 9 pm) is TBD (but it will be on TV).

A lot of people have asked, "Why are two of the games on VERSUS, exclusive?"
Well, it all lies in VERSUS' contract with the league. The cable network has the right to select two broadcasts in each series of Round 2 and make them exclusive nation-wide (including in the local markets). VERSUS and NBC have the entire Conference Finals and Stanley Cup Finals exclusive as well.

The next question (some) people have is, "Where can I find VERSUS on my cable or satellite provider?"

The answer is TV. VERSUS plans on picking up TSN's feed of the game as the first game of a double-header. Fans - we know it's early, but please try and show up early to give the team a solid home-ce advanatge!

I think the deal with Versus is a huge negative for the Stars. I have one of the top packages with DISH, which does not include versus and I will NOT get it.

I think the only way to send this message is LOW RATINGS. I was a Stars season ticket holder from Season 1 until 2 seasons ago, and while I am still a huge Stars fan, I think this is bs.

I will listen to Ralph and Razor when they are late games.

Its going to be hard to get to that 6:30 game on time and get a full day of work in. Guess thats a good excuse to take off an hour or two early.
