Diego Corrales died. What a crazy career and ending to a talented athlete. He and his wife were separated when he died. She was pregnant too. If you wanna see probably the greatest fight ever for any weight class. Just search youtube for Diego Corrales vs Jose Luis Castillo. Castillo in his long career had never been knocked out. I dont wanna spoil it for those that didn't get to watch the fight. But its probably the best fight I've ever seen. It's like extremely well written book. It never gets old watching a fight like that

since i'm assuming you're talking about the first fight, i've already seen it... and you did give it away for folks that haven't seen it with the way you worded your comments. it's not a big deal at all, but i found it funny that you mentioned not wanting to spoil it.

i agree with you - it was an amazing thing to see. i'd put it right up there with gatti/ward (1 and 3).

Well to hell with it, we'll just talk about it. He didn't really knock him out. What I mean by that is, he didn't hit the canvas though Im pretty darn sure the ropes kept him up. Being taken to the ground twice to turn around and win by TKO.... it was crazy.

yeah, you're right about that part. he was basically out on his feet though, and in a BAD position. those guys are/were both warriors.
