On track reporter: "...Texas A&M winners of the women's Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championships; the men came in second, so it's gotta feel good overall.
PH: "No, it's a great meet for Texas A&M today. We've made some good strides; we're coming in the right direction on both sides- both men and women, so we're extremely pleased. Our women had a tremendous meet today, and our men did too. We had a TREMENDOUS meet on the men's side. Colorado's distance people were just so dominant that they're a tough team to beat."
"That really goes to show you how that distance can make a big difference, doesn't it?"
PH: "Well it did at this track meet; it did at this track meet you know, and so, a lot of credit to Colorado, they did a great job. They have great athletes in other event areas too- its not just those two events. They dominated those two events so well,it's hard to beat them."
