Any chance of swimming for the Ags?

In two years, if we do not recruit replacements for our current junior class - Texas will thrash us with their upcoming classes.

Their 2008 fall class is rated #1 and includes:

Kathleen Hersey
Leah Gingrich
Karlee Bispo

Bispo is the HS national record holder in the 200 free (1:45.14). Hersey has the 2nd fastest 200 fly time for Olympic trials - faster than Vollmer, Descenza, Hoff, etc. Gingrich is a top distance swimmer.

And for fall 2009 they have Mary Beck from Austin - the HS national record holder in 200 IM and top backstroker.

These four girls would win races where Texas now finishes 3rd to Aggies.

When Wilkinson, Heiss, Marshall, Hansen, etc. are gone we lose a ton of talent.

Hopefully our #4 NCAA finish opens the eyes of a lot of top talent and these girls look at us just like they look at Stanford, Arizona, etc.

i heard from one of her friends that shes looking into auburn or zona. apparently she wants to get out of texas and move away from her family.
