Anyone know who is in contention for earning a spot at Beijing?

Alia Atkinson - Jamaica
Julia Wilkinson - Canada
Kristen Heiss - US (has a legit shot)
Christine Marshall - US (has a legit shot)

Codie Hansen, Melissa Hain, Erin Mahoney, Maria Sommer, Emily Neal, & Sarah Woods have Trials cuts and will swim at the US Trials meet

Men's Swimmers:

Balazs Makany - Hungary
Francisco Picasso - Uruguay (very close)
Alfredo Jacobo - Mexico (very close)

Ozzie Gardner, Casey Strange, Tyler Welch, Brad Raiford, & Ryan Latone are all qualified for, and will swim at the US Trials meet

I hope I didnt leave anyone out...

I don't know if this has been posted, but I believe Ozzie quit the Aggie Swim team. At least, that is what I heard, and I know he hasnt been at practice for 2 or so weeks.

Dont know where you heard that from, but Ozzie is done with his eligibility at A&M, so there really is no way/reason for him to "quit the team", since he can no longer compete for the Ags (during the collegiate season). It would be more of a retirement, not him quitting...

But since he is still training for Olympic Trials, he hasnt retired yet

Sorry, my bad. I was mistaken, it was Israel Duran that I had seen in a while, and had heard rumors that he quit and went back home. Sorry for the confusion.

My boy Vic Wunderle is going for the 3rd Olympics in a row for archery.

He won a silver in the individual competition in Sydney and the team won bronze.

Way to go, Pancho!
