If she can place 6th at finals, she has a good chance to make it on a relay, as they usually take the top six for that relay.

I'm sure she heard the support but in the finals the whole place gets incredibly loud..especially if a world record is about to occur. I'm so happy for Christine! Great for aggie swimming overall!

She's back at it this morning...made the semifinals in the 100 free...she probably won't get to the final but she is still having a heck of a meet...she entered the meet #36 in the 100 free and was 16th this morning...

Maria Sommer (she was a freshmen last year - from Brenham) qualified for the 50m free at the US Olympic trials. I think the 50m free is tomorrow (friday). Another Aggie to cheer for at the trials.
