my thoughts...
With a population of 34 million you would think they would do better. Texas has more Medals then Canada. But I think Mexico and India are even worse. Mexico has about half the population of the US and India has over a Billion and all they have is Uno Medal each.

Wow, that's pretty sad. Canada can't even pull out the "we're a poor third-world country with zero facilities" card. They've never been a summer olympics powerhouse, but you'd think they'd have at least 5-6 by now. Maybe they're overly focusing on Winter sports (more than usual even) since they're hosting next round.

They have 3 now

You would think with Global warming that the Summer Olympics would be a norm for them with all their glaciers melting...

They'll grab some in Trampoline. I love Trampoline.

Canada should get some medals in Flat Water Kayaking (starts Monday) as Van Koeverden is pretty good.

They have 7 now.
Cuba has 8.
Mexico has 1.

Canada finished with a respectable 18.
Rythmic sports and trampolin obviosuly helped them.
India and Mexico each had 3 what a joke.

Some of the old USSR countries get a lot of medals per population, as well as Cuba.
Great Britan seemed to haul in a bunch too.
