I can't stop laughing at these guys running the 50k.

50K. Those dudes were walking for 3+ hours.

I can respect someone who does anything for 50 km straight. Plus, racewalking has been in the Olympics since the beginning, so it does have a history.

They do look goofy though.

i watched the 20km womens last night, it was ridiculous. Especially when they red card someone out for "running"

How can you take yourself seriously when you train to be a "speed walker"

They will all need hip replacements at young ages if they keep this up.

It is great, but I will say it is hard as hell to do for a long time like they do it. I will give them props for that.

I think walking on your hands would be a more valid olympic sport than this garbage. These folks would choose another event in a heartbeat if they had the talent.

It's essentialy a sport that's entirely based upon how much cheating you can get away with. Virtually everyone got a warning and if they did it according to the rules no one would have finished the race.

It's the only sport where the competitors try to see how far they can push the envelope before they get sent off.

They look goofy, they do break the rules all the time.

I'd like to see one of you all go up against the endurance most of them have.
