What am I forgetting? I guess this is just another reason why China is cleaning up in golds. We are dominant in team sports, while they are very strong in many individual sports.

China made a deliberate study on how to win the modst gold medals, then focused their efforts on those sports (like gymnastics) that would generate the highest medal count.

Not to mention "sports" like badminton and table tennis have like 8 medals associated with them. So yeah, its no wonder China is racking up all the golds.

Happy to see men's volleyball when gold after the stabbing tragedy on day 1.

Very happy to see the "Redeem Team" win gold. Had they not, people would have been talking about their "failure" forever.

A great Olympics for U.S. team sports.

Awesome to see the entire men's indoor team singing the National Anthem at the top of their lungs.

The major team sports did very well for the USA.

We clearly overachieved in water polo and indoor volleyball. We have never been dominant in those sports and they came through in a big way. Way impressive for men's volleyball to take the gold from Brazil. And silver in water polo!
