Ags, we lost a heart breaking match to Baylor in the Big l2 finals today and I just want to say "Thanks" to Coach Tim Cass. I am a diehard football fan, second a die hard basketball fan (may die soon from this) and third a baseball fan with many hopes (may also die from this with many heartaches)--but Ags recently I have become a fan of Aggie Tennis and I get to see the Aggie Spirit alive watching these guys. We have a coach that instills winning, winning the right way, and seems to truly be trying to see that A&M is a national power to be proud of. During this tourney, I have watched this coach be a great game day coach working with the players, getting the most of the players---particularly the young guys. We had matches that depended on the freshman coming through in critical situations and Coach Tim was there with them.
We have a really young team this year with a couple great recruits coming in. Ags, let's hope for a regional. Perhaps we will qualify for the NCAA finals later(at A&M)

I saw all 3 Aggie matches at the tournament and Coach Cass definitely is a game day coach. He was key in settling Lester down in the third set against Texas. He got him to concentrate on tennis and not questionable line calls.
Congrats to Baylor. They were the better team today and earned their win. I had heard a lot of negative comments about Baylor hooking but didn't see anything out of the normal. They played hard and played well. Their number one player is very talented. The Ags played as hard as they could and that's all you can ask for.
The Texas match was truly a great collegiate athletic contest with both teams giving a 100% effort on every point.
Cook is definitely a gamer as is Ante. Jean Simon of Texas is definitely one great player and classy individual. He's certainly a player the Horns can be proud of. The Aggie tennis team represents our university well on and off the court. Coach Cass is to be commended for the great job he is doing.

Coach Cass has done an outstanding job with this team. The win over Texas was amazing...Ryan got one of his biggest wins ever, Ante played through complete exhaustion, and Lester pulls out the victory.

Unfortunately, I think we left all on the court Saturday and didn't have much in the tank for Sunday, but that's OK...we had to have the Saturday match, and we got it.

If this was a "rebuilding" year as people have said, I think we're in awfully good shape.

I guess this was tecnicallly a rebuilding year, but we have shown that we can play with anyone on a rather consistent basis. Other than the Rice disaster we have played well in all the other matches and have a number of quality wins. We still might be able to make some waves at the NCAA's if we get our people healthy and get a break or two. Coach Cass and Coach Berkowitz both get high marks for getting this young team to the level that they can compete every time out.

Tim does an amazing job! I know/work with many collegiate athletic directors, and I can tell you that TC would make an outstanding AD.
