Should be a good fight, no doubt in my mind shamrock in his prime would kill Kimbo…hopefully ken will protect his chin better than tank.

This is EXC’s way of trying to prove Kimbo’s legitimacy by throwing in a name that hasn’t been good in over 5 years. One thing Ken has NEVER been good at is protecting himself…he just goes in with that old UFC1 8-man tourney style and he usually takes a lot of damage doing it.

I would be shocked if Ken lasted through the first round.

I played HS football with KJ Noons. He needs to take the Diaz fight on that card.

If he wins, he is legit & may get the Gomi fight he wants. If he loses, he gets great TV exposure & would likely still get a rematch for the title.

Yeah, I don't really give Ken a chance. I respect him as a pioneer in MMA and all, but he has won two of his last ten fights and his last win was in 2004!

This is yet another publicity stunt by EliteXC. I don't see Kimbo fighting anybody substantial until late 2009 or early 2010...

I think ken will get knocked out 1st round if they stay standing, no one can take too many Kimbo punches to the head...especially a 46 yr old legend.

I agree Ken is more of a big name than a legit competitive fighter. I do think he will give kimbo a much better fight than tank did though.

The best fighter in the world without doubt is Fedor E...he would take out Kimbo in the 1st round.

I don't think Shamrock has a chance. Not now. Maybe in his prime, but not now. Kimbo is a beast.

looks to me like Kimbo taps out in the Thompson fight when he's being choked out.

If you are talking about the first round, he gave the ref the thumbs up to say he was okay.

Shamrock just got taken out of the fight tonight.

He got a cut above his eye from a headbutt during a warmup and had to have stitches.

The commission won't let him fight.

They've replaced him with some no name punching bag now just to put on a show.

i hope he gets his ass kicked, but i have no idea who he's gonna face.

and i'm fully expecting full afro growing out of kimbo's chin by the next time he fights.
