Yeah, it’s definitely become more of a “Johnny Come Lately” business. Although in this case I really can’t see any other heavyweights in the UFC that make me say, “How on earth did they pass up this guy for Lesnar”. There might be a couple where I could see an argument.

I’m more excited to see Randy back in the ring and to see how he handles Brock’s overall athleticism…and to see the freestyle vs. GR wrestling style. We’ve seen really big “weight room” guys get stuck in a clinch before and pay for it…and that’s where Randy does a lot of him damage.

It's not for the title so I don't see what's wrong with this fight. I don't think Lesnar has much of a shot, Couture is too skilled and will wear him down just like he did Sylvia and Gonzaga. I don't know how UFC got Couture back in, from everything Couture says he hates Dana White, must be making a bunch of money.

I could be wrong but from what I gather Couture just got tired of the legal crap and wants to finish the final 2 fights on his contract. There might be some additional $$$ incentives for him, but I haven’t seen anything to confirm that. I know he still hopes to fight Fedor.

i don't have any problem with the fight being made, but it shouldn't be for the HW title.

the UFC should've either stripped randy and removed the interim tag from big nog's belt or had randy's first fight be to unify the belts.

as it stands, we'll have two HW title defenses in 2 months with four guys involved. part of what i hated about boxing was having multiple belts in each weight class.

It is a title fight. The winner will fight the winner of Nog/Mir so we'll be back to one belt again. Also in Werdum's contract he is one win away from a title shot and he's fighting Junior dos Santos(UFC debut) in UFC 90. So the HW division is planned out for a while.

agree with Joe Boo.
I want to see this fight, but it shouldn't be for the H/W title. Brock hasn't earned it (yet). Randy will will IMO.
