I just read that the record for major league home runs was shattered yesterday! From 57 to 62

Just wondering if anyone else thinks the baseball's are different nowadays?

I was in Colorado at the Giants @ Rockies game where 9 home runs were hit that day. I remember saying, woah, this just isnt baseball.
